MICRO AND SPRINKLERS SPRAY HEADS AND NOZZLES RAIN BIRD SPRINKLER BASE, TYPE RD 1804-SAM-PRS The Rain Bird Sprinkler base, type RD 1804-SAM-PRS is the ideal pop-up for garden design and with the additional SAM & PRS features. It’s perfect to be used in areas with elevation changes and in systems where constant pressure can be an issue and uniform irrigation wants to be achieved in the garden. The benefit of the SAM check valve is that it prevents drainage of the pop-ups in areas with increasead pressure or lower areas while the benefit of the PRS feature is that it regulates the pressure in every pop-up. The 1800-RD pop-up is compatible with a range of spray heads: VAN, HE-VAN, R-VAN, U-Series, MPR and Rotary nozzles. We recommend this spray head for efficient irrigation and garden installation. The R-VAN nozzle series matches the precipitation rate of the 5000 series equipped with MPR nozzles which allow installations and the layout calculations are designed to be much simpler. The R-VANs produce larger droplets and a thicker stream of water which allow them to have a high wind resistance therefore reducing water waste. Not only the R-VANs are compatible with all the 1800 series pop ups but their performance and versatility is unmatched by reducing running times by over 33% and by having a full range of adjustable, full circle ande strip nozzles that covers both large and small areas.
